Site work and paving for a civil project in Scandia, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Description of Work: The work includes the construction of approximately: Reclaim Bituminous Pavement Sq Yd 24,200 Common Excavation Cu Yd 1400 Type Sp 12.5 Wearing Course Ton 3750 Type Sp 9.5 Wearing Course Ton 2250 Storm Sewer Lin Ft 584 4" Double Yellow Line Lin Ft 6900 together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Responsible Contractor Certification. Completion of Work: All work under the Contract must be complete by October 30, 2021. Bid Security: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Scandia shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
