Renovation of a water / sewer project in Batesburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
***As of April 15, 2021 project has not been awarded yet. It is anticipated to be awarded on May 1, 2021. Removal and replacement of two 42-inch influent screw pumps, drive, gear reducer and end bearings; construction of a new 50-foot diameter by 24 foot tall welded stainless steel sludge tank complete with foundation, tank, connecting piping, caged ladder, decant valves and overflow piping, observation platform, two floating aerators, one floating mixer, one waste sludge pump, piping and appurtenances; the installation of a rotary fan press with all appurtenances for sludge dewatering and the addition to the existing Electrical Building. Work also includes an electrical system upgrade, process metering equipment and installation of a process monitoring and control system. Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent of the amount of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
