Site work, paving and new construction of a fire / police facility in Clear Brook, Virginia. Conceptual plans call civil work for a fire station.

At the present time the Clear Brook Vol. Fire & Rescue has outgrown the existing building with the equipment on hand, the call volume, the staffing of 24-hour personnel and the traffic at the existing location. The city is proposing a new building to be located within the Clear Brooks first due area. The building needs to be approximately a 100x100 Administration and living with a 100x60 / 4 - Truck Bay all single level. The building will be used for day-to-day operations, administration, eating and sleeping facility of the current career staffing, volunteers, and future staffing. The estimated size of the structure is to be approximately 16,000 square feet. This upgrade of the facility will help to provide the needed space for Fire and EMS services for the community of Clear Brook As of July 19, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
