On January 10, 2020, the biosolids drying system suffered a natural gas explosion resulting in significant damage to the furnace, ductwork, separation equipment, and solids handling equipment. The proposed WRF-1 project will enable the City to resume operations of the biosolids dryer system. The scope of services requested under this RFP generally requires the successful consultant to: (1) provide an independent assessment of the scope of damage and repairs required; (2) produce Contract Documents for a construction project to make the required repairs; and (3) enable the City to retain a contractor to perform the required remedial work. Project design completion is expected by January 2023. Estimated Bid Value $700,000 - $900,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
