The Project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of approximately 760 linear feet of 12-inch, 8-inch and 6-inch RJDIP waterline and select 8-inch sanitary sewer replacement. The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required. Bidders must conform with the provisions of the North Carolina Contractor's Licensing Act of 1925, as amended. All Bids must include a non-collusion affidavit. The City of Durham requires the Project to be substantially completed within 75 consecutive calendar days, and completed within 105 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. The work required under this Contract, and in accordance with these Specifications, consists of furnishing equipment, superintendence, labor, skill, material, and all other items necessary for the construction of the interceptor to be constructed under this Contract. The Contractor shall perform all work required for such construction in accordance with the Contract Documents, and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready for use. The principal features of work to be performed are as follows: Newman Street Waterline: Consists of the installation of approximately 760 linear feet of 12-inch waterline, connections to existing piping, valve assemblies, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration and all associated appurtenances, as described in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings.
