Question Deadline 03/14/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Scope: The work covered by these plans and specifications consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment; and performing all operations necessary for the construction of WILLS BRANCH CREEK DREDGING. The project includes, but is not limited to: Dredging / excavating, transportation, and disposal of material from Wills Creek as indicated in the contract plans. Installation and maintenance of temporary turbidity controls associated with the project construction. Clearing the banks of all debris and vegetation, including the replacement of rubble rip rap slope protection as called out in the contract plans. 2 Location: This project is located within the limits of the City of Jacksonville, Florida. The construction area includes the dredging of Wills Branch Creek from east of Old Middleburg Road to approximately 2000 feet east of Lane Avenue. Additionally, the job site shall include all City property, rights-of-way, and easements delineated on the contract drawings. 3 Intent: It is the intent of these Contract Documents to construct the WILLS BRANCH CREEK DREDGING project as shown on the plans and including but not limited to: 1. Site Preparation, Including Clearing & Grubbing 2. Earthwork 3. Bank Stabilization 4. Erosion Control & PollutionAbatement 5. Grassing It is not the intent of these Contract Documents to minutely define the mode and fabric of construction of this project, but rather to set forth reasonable and rational criteria for the construction thereof.
