The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment (except generators and ATS) and labor necessary to install three (3) new Owner purchased 20 kW diesel generators with integral fuel tank, 100A automatic transfer switches, and associated electrical and civil site work at the Seabrook Island Utility Commission's Pump Station Nos. 3, 10, and 11. Each generator shall be installed on a new concrete platform to be constructed at each pump station, and new electrical racks will be constructed for the automatic transfer switches. The Contractor will commence the work required by the Contract Documents within 10 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Work will be fully complete 120 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Should the Contractor fail to complete the work within the time stated above, the Contractor agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter until said work is fully complete. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 90 days.
