Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Mineral, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 22,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Jouett Elementary School Additions and Renovations project at 315 Jouett School Road, Mineral, VA 23117. The project is generally described as the construction of a classroom addition of approximately 22,000 square feet, construction of a walk-in freezer addition, replacement of the HVAC system in the existing building and associated renovations and site work. A bid bond is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids, and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 4 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330A (i), Code of Virginia. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: Total Base Bid Amount, plus such successive Additive Bid Items as the Owner in its discretion decides to award.
