For Brine Tank AdditionRelocation of an existing brine tank and addition of a second brine tank. Work includes: construction of a concrete slab; existing building doors relocation and modifications; addition of aluminum stairs, platforms, and handrail; installation of Owner provided brine tanks; all piping, valves, heat tracing, and other appurtenances necessary to connect the brine tanks. Construction Cost Range: Approximately $80,000 The Project includes the following Work: Building modifications necessary for the addition of a second brine tank at the W.R. Wise Water Treatment Plant to include: construction of a thickened concrete slab on the existing tank deck; relocation and modification to personnel doors; addition of a new aluminum maintenance platform with stairs and handrail; modification to existing aluminum stairs and handrail; removal and re-installation of existing brine tank; installation of new brine tank (tank provided by Owner); miscellaneous concrete construction; installation of all piping, valves, heat tracing, and other appurtenances necessary to connect the brine tanks and install as shown on the contract drawings; and other construction as required to provide two operational brine tanks in the configuration shown on the contract drawings. This work will take place at 202 Water Plant Road, Greenwood SC 29649. Preparation and coordination will be required by Contractor to minimize downtime of brine tanks during construction and installation.
