As of December 15, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Scope of Work: - Please provide separate bids for the library and plaza. New construction of a two-story library with first floor consisting of East and West vestibules, lobby, an open adult area, children's activity room, youth and teen study areas, teen seating area, offices, staff workroom, staff restrooms, storage, ID closet, public restrooms, two elevators freight and public, second floor consisting of open adult area, quiet reading room, study rooms, collaboration instruction room, director office, manager office, boardroom, reception area, adult services workroom, breakroom, restrooms, patio/balcony, storage rooms, events building consisting of maker space, arts& crafts room, storages, multi-purpose room, pantry, janitor, outdoor patio, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. This project generally includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of both the Anna Community Library and Anna Plaza. The intention is to award both projects to one (1) General Contractor. The Anna Community Library is approximately 32,500 SF two-story steel frame structure. The design incorporates two distinct building designs connected by the interior lobby on the first floor, and interior bridge connection on the second floor. The Main Library (north building) includes the main library function spaces such as the stacking area and administrative offices. The Event Building (south building) consists of the multipurpose room, Arts & Crafts, and Makerspace. The Anna Plaza scope consists of approximately 75,000 SF of landscaping and exterior amenities such as the childrens playground, lighting, seating areas, and a Veterans Tribute.
