Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The estimated value of the construction was approximately $600,000 to $660,000. Only the Successful Bidder for a contract will be responsible for payment of a fee to online and for bearing the cost thereof. The amount of the fee due to online is either 1/3% (0.0033) of the initial contract award amount for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% (0.00166) of the expected contract value for term contracts and will be invoiced by online to the successful bidder upon award of a contract by the Local Contracting Unit. The minimum fee is set at $100.00 and the maximum fee is capped at $5,000.00. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price shall be submitted with the bid. A performance bond of onehundred percent (100%) shall be submitted within ten (10) days from the date a bid has been accepted. This project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the prevailing wage rates are incorporated in the bid documents. Lower Makefield Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept either in whole or in part any one bid or combination of bids and to accept the bid which it determines in its best interests CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/1/2021 10:00 AM Notice to proceed is anticipated to be given between April 15 and April 30, 2021.
