Site work for a civil project in Bastrop, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work generally consists of Street Excavation, Drainage, Water, Wastewater and Erosion Control Improvements Any requests received after said time and date will not be addressed. A cashiers check, certified check, or bid bond, payable to Hunt Communities Bastrop, LLC, in an amount not less than 5% of the bid must accompany each bid proposal as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will, within 10 days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond. The bidders surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish Payment & Performance Bonds acceptable to the Owner within 10 days after award of the contract. A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of two years from the date of the letter of final acceptance from The Colony M.U.D. No. 1C, City of Bastrop and Bastrop County. No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Prevailing Wage Rates, in accordance with Government Code 2258 are applicable to this project.
