Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of May 3,2021 awarded contractor for Morton Elementary is Sampson Construction Co., Inc. The project has already started. The project includes demolition work, miscellaneous finishes upgrades & improvements, a partial re-roof, and related mechanical/electrical work. Materials to be incorporated into the complete project shall be purchased tax exempt in the name of the Owner, and the Bidder shall exclude from his Bid all State of Nebraska and Local Option Sales and Use Tax for such materials in accordance with the General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract for Construction. CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. This entire project is within Morton Elementary School, 1805 South 160th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68130 . The project consists of partial reroof, various interior renovations and related Mechanical and Electrical upgrades. B. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the MPS Morton Elementary - Interior Renovations. C. Renovations will take place during staff and student summer vacation but various areas of the facility will be occupied by the summer school activities. Contractors and MPS staff will work closely to isolate areas of work. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. E. In addition to any temporary walls shown in these documents, temporary walls may be required in areas of construction depending on the type of work being performed in certain areas. See Division 01 50 00-Temporary Facilities for additional requirement
