This item shall consist of furnishing and installing painted pavement markings, fast-drying painted pavement markings and painted legend, arrows and markings, of the type and color specified at the locations directed by the Town and in conformity with these specifications and as directed by the Town. A list of streets and approximate quantities are attached. Painted legend, arrows and markings includes paint installed with a hand striping machine such as: stop bars, crosswalks, parking stalls, lane arrows, legends, markings within gore areas, and painting of paved island or medians. Painted pavement markings and fast-drying painted pavement markings includes paint installed with a truck-mounted painting such as: center lines, lane lines and shoulder lines. On two-way highways, the exact location for passing zones will be determined by the Town prior to the application of the pavement markings. All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days.
