Site work and paving for a civil project in South Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The principal work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to improvement of the following: Furnish and install a precast concrete booster station building including piping, valves, pumps, electrical, and controls. Furnish and install yard piping, vaults, valves, etc. Site work including grading, installation of gravel access road, seeding and restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on the lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:15 am -5:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files for a non-refundable charge of $50.00 per set. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither the County nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
