Research 1 North is an occupied facility with classroom, research, and office space. The RC1N 1 st and 7 th Floor Renovation project involves the renovation of existing classroom lab space in Research Complex 1 North 1 st floor and minimal research lab space on the 7 th floor. The 1 st -floor renovations involve the conversion of classroom lab space into dedicated microscopy research lab space. Renovations include replacing mechanical systems and mechanical controls, lighting and controls (nLight), new electrical, compressed air distribution, drywall/framing, finishes, and furnishings. The 7 th -floor renovations include the installation of mechanical equipment, controls, and miscfixtures and furnishings. General Contractor Bids to include all project scope as identified in project documents. Miscellaneous scope not identified in documents, but required for completion of identified scope shall be included. One example of miscellaneous scope would consist of the removal and reinstallation of ceilings to complete mechanical equipment replacement. Systems furniture supply and install will be University provided. General Contractor will be required to coordinate with University on the install of the furniture prior to completion of construction duration.
