Work description: CONTRACT-1, Bid Package 1 1). Phase 2 would consist of 100% sealant joint replacement on the existing façade limestone panels from the bottom of the third level to the ground level. The exterior joint replacement on the main CJF exterior walls would be accessed by swing stage scaffolding. Exterior joint replacement would include removal of existing joint material, prep joint, install new joint filler as needed, new backer rood (compression seal) and polyurethane sealant (tooled finish). 2). Also Phase 2 would include spall repair on the existing limestone panels, limestone crack repair, replacement of damaged / deteriorated limestone panels that are beyond repair, and replacement of 100% parapet coping sealant joints with new backer rod, sealant , and new lead T-caps. Project Completion: Work of Contract shall be Substantially Complete no later than December 06, 2021 Contractors shall employee a minimum of 50% of the Contract labor force with employees that reside in Milwaukee County Bidders who submit a bid shall obtain documents and be a plan holder of record at bid express. Bids from bidders who are not on the plan holders list will be rejected as being non-responsive. Prime Contractors shall be qualified prior to submitting a bid in accordance with chapter 43 of Milwaukee County ordinance. Bidders shall submit the completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Sheet with the Bid. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves the right to reject a bid, to waive informalities in a bid or to accept a bid, which will be in best interest of Owner. Bids shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bidding due date. The Target Enterprise participation goal for this project is 25%.
