…………………… Engineering Services for Improvements to Geren Island Roughing Filter No. 2. The City of Salem (City) is seeking engineering services Proposals for design, permitting, and support during bidding and construction for improvements to the existing Geren Island Roughing Filter No. 2. The selected proposer shall have expertise in the design, permitting and construction support of similar facilities. The City accepts no responsibility for non-receipt and/or delays in receipt caused by transmission and reception problems, equipment failure, or any other similar cause. Each Proposal is instantly sealed and will only be visible to the City after the closing date and time. Uploading large documents may take significant time, depending on the size of the file(s) and your internet connection speed. You will receive an email confirmation receipt once you finalize your submission. The GIRF2 project budget is $25.0 million which includes approximately $22.0 million for construction and $3.0 million for design, engineering services during construction and all other administrative costs. The City reserves the right to: Accept or reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof received as a result of this RFP. Negotiate with any Proposer(s). Waive any immaterial defects and irregularities in proposals and to waive or modify any irregularities in proposals received, after prior notification to the Proposer(s).
