Rotomill Edges & Intersections 2 Depth 950 SY; Soft Area Repair 220 SY; Manhole Adjustment Risers 2 EA; Concrete Sidewalk Restoration 30 SY; Roof Drain Pipe Extensions/Adjustments 70 LF; 2 Binder Course 200 TN; Leveling Course 20 TN; 1 Wearing Course 180 TN; and other specified work - all quantities approximate. Bid must be accompanied by satisfactory bid security executed by bidder and acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to "Avonmore Borough." The successful contractor must attach a Certification of Compliance with labor standards as specified by the U.S. Department of Labor in the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, 40 U.S.C. Sections 276(a) through 276(a)-7. Also, furnish the County with weekly payroll sheets. Prime Contractors should use the Directory of Minority, Women and Section 3 Business Enterprises to solicit proposals from potential subcontractors. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be upon the form provided. MBE: 6.3% WBE: 6.9%
