Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The project consists of the addition of a community microgrid integrated at the Allen Neighborhood Center in Lansing, MI. The facility is located at 1611 E Kalamazoo Street, Lansing, MI 48912. The microgrid will be owned and operated by Lansing Board of Water & Light (LBWL) The new microgrid system will contain roof top solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, car port solar PV panels, and a battery energy storage system (BESS), all integrated and controlled via an energy management system (EMS). The microgrid system will be coupled to a 480V electrical system which also feeds the distribution transformer that serves the Neighborhood Center; see Attachment A for the project electrical single line and general arrangement drawings.
