Site work and paving for a road / highway in S Zanesville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of March 18, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 22, 2021.** This project involves the resurfacing of Dryden Road from Pershing Road to Luck Avenue within the City of Zanesville. Only contractors prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation will be eligible to submit bids for this project. All questions shall be submitted to the engineer via email. Engineer: Charles M. Saunders, 401 Market Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701, telephone number (740) 617- 4910, email: csaunders@coz.org Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised code. Bid Surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The contractor and all subcontractors shall be required to pay a rate or rates of wages which shall not be less than those currently determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with Federal aid requirements and U.S. Department of Labor Regulations, Title 29, Subtitile A, Part 5, Section 5.5, 5.31, and 5.32, most recent revision at contract execution. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements of the City of Zanesville's income tax [Codified Ordinances of the City of Zanesville Ohio, Chapter 181]. The City of Zanesville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive formalitites, readvertise and/or take such other steps decreed necessary and in the best interests of the City. This project involves the resurfacing of Dryden Road from Pershing Road to Luck Avenue within the City of Zanesville. The engineer's estimate is $315,000. The project construction completion date is September 30, 2021.
