Also, Contractors should carefully read this Project Manual before submitting a bid. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder. Bidders shall include time of completion in calendar days in the appropriate block on the bid form. The Owner | requires that construction begin as soon as possible after project award. The work is to be completed by August 20, 2021 due to school starting the following week. Several of the streets are primary routes to school. Time of completion will be considered when evaluating for lowest and best responsible bid. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the base bid is required to accompany bids.
