No oral, facsimile, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Bidders will be required to provide a security deposit, in the form of an approved Bid Bond, cashiers or certified check, or certified share draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of each bid, in a separate attached envelope. Architect will provide a project overview, review bidding procedures and answer any contractor questions. This meeting is to minimize the exposure of the church, so contractors are encouraged to attend this meeting if they want to review existing interior church existing conditions. Masks are required to attend Pre-Bid Meeting. Lump-sum bids will be received under one contract as described in the specifications. Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after specified closing time for receiving bids in Church Narthex. All interested parties are invited to attend. Consideration of the bids received for the Faith Lutheran Church Additions & Renovations by the Faith Lutheran Church, Building Committee and Church Board will make the award of contract or take other actions upon the proposals received in accordance with the law and the drawings and specifications in the following week after bids are received. The Faith Lutheran Church Board may make the award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting the specifications. The Owner reserved the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interests of the Faith Lutheran Church Board.
