Work includes, but is not limited to, installation of 9-4' diameter precast concrete manholes replacing existing manholes and cleanouts along new and existing alignments; removal and replacement of 8 existing manholes with 8-4' diameter precast concrete manholes; installation, removal and replacement of approximately 3,417 linear feet of 8-inch diameter SDR 26 PVC pipe; construction of 98-inch diameter pipe point repairs (approximately 135 total linear feetof 8-inch diameter SDR 26 PVC pipe) of various locations and lengths; rehabilitation of 9,563 linear feet of existing 8-inch diameter VCP sewer by in-stalling Cured-In-Place Pipe lining; rehabilitation of 15 existing manholes by various methods; installation of 20.4 vertical feet of cementitious manhole liner; 40 linear feet of reinforced concrete encasement; pre-and post-construction internal CCTV inspection of approximately 13,573 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer; erosion control; surface restoration; bypass pumping; traffic control; and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project. Bids will be received on a unit price basis Prequalification of Bidders will not be required. Owner will evaluate Bidders in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of total Bid price shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The Work shall be Substantially Completed within one hundred fifty(150)days nd completed and ready for final payment within one hundred eighty (180)days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged to submit bids for this work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner because of such rejections.The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
