Work includes, but is not limited to, installation of 22-4-feet diameter precast concrete manholes replacing existing manholes along new and existing alignments; installation, removal and replacement of approximately 3,514 linear feet of 8-inch diameter and 1,568 linear feet of 10-inch diameter SDR 26 PVC pipe and 377 linear feet of 8-inch diameter Class 50 ductile iron pipe; removal and replacement of 126 service connections; construction of 15 8-inch diameter pipe point repairs (approximately 230 total linear feetof 8-inch diameter PVC pipe) of various location sand lengths; rehabilitation of 6 existing manholes by various methods; 60 linear feet of reinforced concrete encasement; pre-and post-construction internal CCTV inspection (approximately 7,340linear feet and 7,488 linear feet, respectively)of 8-and 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer; erosion control; surface restoration; bypass pumping; traffic control; and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project Bids will be received on a unit price basis Prequalification of Bidders will not be required.Owner will evaluate Bidders in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of total Bid price shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The Work shall be Substantially Completed within one hundred fifty(150)days nd completed and ready for final payment within onehundred eighty (180)days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged to submit bids forthis work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner because of such rejections.The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder tothese conditions.
