For the purposes of awarding the contract, only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement, and holding, where applicable , the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, c. B. - 1.1). Tender contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender. All tenders must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts for school board buildings adopted under the Education Act (RSQ, c. I-13-3, r.0.01). The owner does not undertake to accept the lowest or any other of the bids received and disclaims any obligation or liability towards the bidders.
