This project will generally include installation of 14" and 8" PVC force main, directional bores, and construction of a new lift station with all appurtenances, electrical improvements, and SCADA upgrades. A Bidder's Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check in an amount not less than (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Ennis, Texas. The project is to be substantially complete within 150 calendar days from the notice to proceed, and shall be fully complete within 170 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Notice to proceed date is anticipated as April 15, 2021. Liquidated damages of $300.00 per day shall be assessed for any days in which contract time is exceeded.
