*As of July 27, 2022, construction is underway. Josiah Quincy Upper School Swing Space Project. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Resilient Floors, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical. In order to enable the construction of the new Josiah Quincy Upper School, the 6th and 7thgrades currently located in the JQUS 900 Washington Street building need to move into Swing Space at the 152 Arlington Street JQUSbuilding. This work must start at the conclusion of the 2020-2021 school year and be completed bythe start of the 2021-2022 school year. The scope of work in the 152 Arlington Street buildingincludes bringing underutilized spaces back online, addition of a new HP Accessible Toilet, Science classroom refurbishment, conversion of theStudent Lounge into Classrooms & expansion of the Cafeteria All responses submitted after this time will not be accepted. Pls see the RFQ for additional info and the specific criteria and points for trade contractor prequal, selection and mandatory submission requirements for the SOQ, such as: a Commitment Letter for payment and performance bonds, DCAMM Certification, DCAMM Subcontractor Update Statement, and Sponsor Verification Letter from the MA Department of Labor Standards Division of Apprentice Training. It is anticipated the prequalification evaluations will be completed around March 29th, 2021 and an IFB will be sent to the prequalified bidders on or around April 14th, 2021 with an anticipated bid date of May 19th, 2021.
