Sherrodsville Grinder Pump Removal Project The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct, but not limited to the following: a pump station, 1,945 ft of 8 inch sanitary sewer and appurtenances, 1,224 feet of 2 inch sanitary force main, 9 sanitary manholes, 1 connections to the existing sanitary system, 542 ft of 4" sanitary laterals, 8 lateral connections, tree removal, and site restoration. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 5% of the amount Bid or a Bid bond in the amount of 100% of the amount Bid. Bid bonds provided from this contract shall be underwritten by a surety that is licensed by the State of Ohio superintendence of insurance to execute such bond in the state. All bonds shall affirmatively state on their face that the surety is authorized to execute bonds in the state and that liability incurred is within the limits of Section 3929.02 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid bond shall be made payable to the Atwood Regional Water and Sewer District and shall serve as a guarantee that in the event the proposal is accepted and a contract is awarded to the successful bidder, the contract will be executed by the bidder from the Bond submitted with the Bid. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Carroll County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease, or omit any items or items and/or to award to the lowest and responsible, responsive bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received.
