Requests for clarification are due Friday, March 5, 2021 12:00:00 PM Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of surety bond or certified check from the Bidder, drawn on a national bank and payable to Plainfield Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the highest amount bid for applicable service for the first year of service as a guarantee on the part of the Bidder that the Bidder will, if called upon to do so, accept and enter into a Contract on the form furnished by the Township within the Bid Documents, to perform the work covered by such proposal at the rates therein and to furnish a corporate surety for its faithful and entire fulfillment. The Bid Bond shall reflect the actual dollar amount of the bond. A Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total cost of the Contract for the entire length of the Contract will be required within ten (10) days from the date that the Notice of the Award is issued to the successful Bidder. Bids shall be considered by the Plainfield Township Board of Supervisors at approximately 7:00 P.M., on Thursday, March 25, 2021 or on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 during either regular monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors. The meetings will either be held at the Plainfield Township Municipal Building, which is located at 6292 Sullivan Trail, Nazareth, PA 18064, or via an approved telecommunication device in accordance with Act 15 of 2020. Questions/clarifications must be received by the Township via electronically no later than Friday, March 5, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST Plainfield Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids on any basis without disclosure or reason. Following the opening of bids, no bid may be withdrawn until a new Contract with the successful Bidder has commenced.
