Renovation of a municipal facility in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of replacement of mechanical systems and roof for a 27,000sf building constructed in 1996. The building will remain partially occupied during construction, which will necessitate two phases for the replacement of the buildings two main air handling units, among other items. The existing ballasted low slope roof system and insulation, along with a small amount of metal roof, will be fully replaced Masks are required while inside or outside all Orange County facilities. Social Distancing will be enforced. All other State, Local, Federal & C DC recommendations/requirements must be followed at all times. Contractors shall RSVP to Smith Sinnett Architecture, Drew Wilgus (dwilgus@smithsinnett.com) with the number of members that will be attending the Pre-Bid meeting and provide point of contact information Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. All proposals shall be lump sum The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
