Sanitary Lateral \ Also included in this project: Erosion Control, Traffic Control, and Construction Staking \ All Contractors shall comply with the "Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie" requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work on this Contract. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time. Approved pre-qualifications will be posted prior to bid opening. The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 61.55, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The project is being funded through the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce Development Block Grant. The Contractor is required to comply with Federal law standards (Davis-Bacon) and Contracting and Labor Standards (including but not limited to EO 11246) specified in the Bidding Documents. Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the Federal (Davis-Bacon) wage rates on the project. Copies of the wage rates are on file at the Village Hall and incorporated into the Contract Documents. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Acceptable Bid Security shall be Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount equal to the Contract Price Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 40 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of Owner.
