Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chehalis, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project will include approximately 1,600 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main and approximately 750 LF of 8-inch PVC sewer main. The project will also resurface 27,000 SF of existing pavement, 800 LF of new concrete curb and gutter, twenty concrete driveways and reconnect existing water and sewer services. This project is a Public Works Project funded by the City of Chehalis. Contractor will be required to and shall pay each employee an amount not less than the State Prevailing Rate of Wage, as specified by Washington State. A contract will be awarded or all bids rejected within 30 days after the bid opening. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Chehalis. The City of Chehalis hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contracts entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex or natural origin in consideration for an award.
