***To be eligible to bid all contractors must obtain their own set of bid documents from American Structurepoint and be added to their plan holders list.*** Base bid work for which proposals are to be received includes construction of a gated parking lot with lighting. All questions related to obtaining bid documents shall be directed to Josh Rodgers via email or 317-547-5580. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms contained in the Contract Documents. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a proposal, itemized proposal, bid bond or certified check, a completely filled out Form No.96 (Revised 2013), list of proposed suppliers and subcontractors, list of bidder experience,non-collusion affidavit, and acceptable bid security. Any Bid not accompanied by the aforementioned required items shall be deemed to be a non-responsive Bid.No Bidder may withdraw the proposal within a period of 90 days fol-lowing the date set for the receiving of bids. The Speedway Redevelopment Commission reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 90 days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Speedway Redevelopment further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to the Bidder providing the lowest responsible and responsive bid, all to the advantage of the Speedway Redevelopment Commission, or to reject all bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the Speedway Redevelopment Commission or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears of the current Treasury Department Circular 570.BONDS: A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded. The OWNER shall retain ten percent (10%) of the amount of each payment untilfifty percent (50%) of the work is complete. Retainage amount being held is not to exceed five percent (5%) of the total contract amount. On Commission completion and acceptance of a part of the Work on which the price is stated separately in the Contract Documents, payment may be made in full, including retained percentages, less authorized deductions.
