Renovation of a multi-residential development in Salem, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**General Bid Deadline: March 25, 2021 2:00 PM The Project consists of: Selective concrete and railing repairs at reinforced concrete balconies and front & rear stoops including all related demolition, carpentry and painting Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction General bids and sub bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Salem Housing Authority. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% percent of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to DHCD (david.mcclave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED. Some scope of the project requires interior access. Full or portions of the project may be impacted by the pandemic. The Notice to Proceed for this project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date DHCD approves the construction contract.
