**As of April 28, 2021, the project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed and construction start date is on May 1, 2021 and this is a 3 years contract.** This bid is an open-scope term-based contract consisting generally of roadway construction and related work, including roadway preparation & construction, curbing and sidewalk construction, roadway drainage construction, and various ancillary items typically associated with roadway construction for a three-year period. Bid Security, in the form identified within the Standard Instructions To Bidders, and in the amount of five (5) percent of the total Bid amount, must accompany each Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the specific formats as attached herein, both for the full value of the Bid Price, along with all required insurance certificates, within fifteen (15) calendar days after the award date in order to execute a Contract. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bid. The Town of Narragansett reserves the right to reject any/all Bids, waive any informalities in the Bids received, and to accept the Bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Town of Narragansett.
