Renovation of a water / sewer project in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The bids will be for furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services necessary to rehabilitate Master Repump Station 9-North. Work includes mechanical, electrical, and civil rehabilitation including a new pump, piping, valve replacements, instrumentation, control panels, electrical switchgear, drives, a new standby generator, temporary bypass pumping, appurtenances, and all work indicated in the Drawing and Technical Specifications. All conditions and requirements for bid submission, consideration, and award are contained in the Bid Documents. Questions may be addressed in writing to Gabe Maul at gmaul@ pbcwater.com or Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department, 8100 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33413. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by Palm Beach County and accompanied by a bid bond security in favor of Palm Beach County in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. A public construction bond (100%) will be required of the successful bidder within fourteen calendar days of notification from County. he Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any bid irregularities, informalities, or technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids. Bidders requiring Bid Documents mailed must provide an express mail account number to the PBCWUD Engineering Division. The bill will be charged to the recipient's account.
