The City of Holly Hill, Florida, is requesting proposals from experienced contractor(s) to replace the existing pedestrian bridge. This project will include design and construction, and will require that the foot bridge be brought into current standards of building code and will require permits from the St. Johns River Water Management District, Army Corps of Engineers, City of Holly Hill and all other appropriate agencies.A more detailed Scope of Work can be found in Exhibit A of the bid packet. The proposals are to be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein. All questions should be directed in writing to Stella Gurnee at financedirector@hollyhillfl.org . Questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on March 9, 2021. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Contract onehundred percent (100 %) Performance Payment Bond which must be recorded by the Clerk of the Court,Volusia County, and enter into a Contract for Services with the City of Holly Hill. The City of Holly Hill is not responsible for the U.S. mail or private carriers or messengers in regard tomail being delivered by the specific time so that a bid can be considered. No bids received after the time and date specified for the opening will be considered. The City of Holly Hill, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all non-substantial irregularity in bids reviewed, whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the City.
