The work includes 48,300' of 8" cleaning and televising main sewers, performing point repairs to the sewers, lining 48,300' of 8" main sewers with CIPP, cleaning and televising 143 service laterals, rehabilitating 105 service laterals via CIPP or replacement, rehabilitating manholes via cementitious mortar, and performing other miscellaneous manhole rehabilitation work such as frame/cover and bench/invert work. This Project is being partially funded by a $500,000 SC Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) Grant. This Project includes cleaning and televising approximately 48,300feet of 8" sanitary sewer; lining approximately 48,300feet of 8"sanitary sewers with cured-in-place pipe lining and performing all associated work including removing protruding service laterals, performing point repairs prior to CIPP, re-connecting active service laterals to the lining and performing product tests; cleaning and televising approximately 143 service laterals and rehabilitating approximately 105 laterals via CIPP or replacement; rehabilitating specified manholes using an approved specialized cementitious mortar product and performing other miscellaneous manhole rehabilitation work such as replacing frames and covers and rebuilding existing benches and inverts; and performing all other necessary work including bypass pumping, traffic control and restoration. Payment must be received by the Engineer prior to mailing the Contract Documents.Digital copies will be provided at no charge. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and one hundred percent (100%) PaymentBond will be furnished. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids or an individual bid as provided in Item 8, Information for Bidders, and to waive any informalities and technicalities in the bid. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of bid opening.
