Renovation of a medical facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Steam System Improvements Winnebago Mental Health Institute Department of Health Services In general the work consists of the construction of six (6) new steam pits. Work also includes the installation of approximately 1450 lineal feet each of high-pressure steam and pumped condensate return in direct buried conduits. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The project consists of the construction of proposed steam utility improvements for the Winnebago Mental Health Institute (WMHI) complex. The proposed alignment of the improvements will start south of the existing Food Service Building. From the starting point, they will proceed easterly for approximately 260 feet, then northerly for approximately 640 feet and then westerly for approximately 360 feet. The improvements will include the installation of three new steam pits. We understand the bottom of the trench excavation to accommodate the steam utility lines is planned to be 6 to 8 feet below the existing ground surface and that the new steam pits are planned to extend to 15 to 18 feet below existing grade. We anticipate that the floors of the steam pits will be designed as a mat foundation.
