Renovation of a medical facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
In general the work consists of replacing sections of the steam and condensate distribution system on the west side of the facility in the existing area. Nine hundred feet of low-pressure steam, high pressure steam and condensate piping will be replaced with direct buried steam conduits. This includes distribution piping that is part of the loop around the campus and piping to the buildings on the west side of the facility. Two steam pits will be replaced. All disturbed areas will be restored. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. No in-person tours will be offered. Please submit questions as soon as possible to facilitate a response.
