Reference number : 1455343 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-03-10 Electronic submission accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Expected duration of the contract (in months): 12 Nature of the Tender Guarantee: Bond Value of the Bid Security (amount or percentage) Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond issued by a Financial Institution, as defined in section 12 of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies (RRQ, c. C-65.1, r.5) and established at an amount equivalent to ten (10%) percent of the Valid Submission for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of the Submission. In addition, the Bid must be accompanied by a letter of intent issued by an insurance company certifying that it will issue a bond for performance and a bond for wages and materials, each for a value of fifty (50%) for cent of the amount of the Bid. Information session and site visit: Each representative of a Tenderer present must sign the attendance sheet made available to him by the Client. The social distancing prescribed for COVID19, wearing a mask and washing hands are mandatory for all bidders. Visits will be made in groups of five (5) bidders at a time, in order of signature on the attendance sheet. The other bidders will have to wait on site until the first groups have passed. The adjudication method is: lowest price. Due to the exceptional restrictions due to COVID 19, visitor access to the building of Polytechnique Montréal is limited. Bidders who wish to send their bid in paper format must schedule an appointment in advance to ensure receipt of their bid. The Bidders are responsible for the choice of Subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their Bids and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. To be eligible to submit a tender, the tenderer must meet the eligibility conditions indicated in the tender documents.
