Site work for a water / sewer project in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**The project has been awarded to Gravity Construction Inc. For $1,289,702.64. Contract information is currently unavailable.** The work generally consists of the installation of approximately 8,700 linear feet of eight-inch diameter cement lined ductile iron water main. Approximately 4,200 linear feet will be included in the Base Bid and the remainder will be an Alternative Bid Item. Work includes, but is not limited to, the water system improvements, service connections, hydrant installation, lawn repair and pavement repair. The Work shall be substantially complete on or before November 12, 2021, and completed and ready for final payment on November 30, 2021. All Bidders shall furnish with their Bid a bid guaranty in the form of a Bid Bond, cash or a certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid and made payable to the Department of Public Works, Town of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Performance Bonds and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds will be required of the Successful Bidder. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded, after the Bid opening or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request from Owner. Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates per M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27D inclusive. Contractor Qualification Highway Division
