Site work and paving for a road / highway in Empire Township, Minnesota. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construct a Roundabout at the intersection of Trunk Highway 3 and CSAH 66 (Vermillion River Trail) in Farmington and Empire Township. MnDOT will be the lead agency. Only County's share of project cost is shown in the CIP. City of Farmington will participate in this project and pay their share of project cost directly to MnDOT. The reconstruction of the intersection will improve intersection operations, make safety improvements, and provide for the increased traffic levels. As of March 30, 2022, this project is in final planning. Information regarding the contractor selection has not been disclosed. Per the owner, project letting is estimated for April 22, 2022. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
