The Contractor shall perform, within the time stipulated, the Contract, including all of its component parts, and everything required to be performed, and to provide and furnish any and all of the labor, materials, tools, expendable equipment, and all applicable taxes, and all utility and transportation services necessary to perform the Contract and complete, in a workmanlike manner, all of the Work required in connection with BID # 20/21- 004 ROOFING PROJECT - PORTABLE BUILDINGS AT VARIOUS SITES, in strict conformity with the Contract Documents. i. Authorized Roofing Contractor will remove and dispose of existing walk-off pads, install a Fibertite (or equal) single ply roof system over the existing roof using the following materials: 1. On NON-FLUTED roof: 1. One (1) layer of 45 mil off-white Fibertite (or equal) roofing mechanically fastened over existing roof to wood roof deck. 2. On FLUTED roof: 1. Gaps must be filled with EPS insulation and entire roof must be smooth prior to installation of new roofing system. 2. One (1) layer of 45 mil off-white Fibertite (or equal) roofing mechanically fastened over existing roof to wood roof deck. ii. Install new walk-off pads to all HVAC units. iii. Install new membrane under all flashings, ridge caps, and reglets, and be resealed. iv. Install new membrane up and over parapet walls. v. Remove existing ridge caps, install new membrane, replace ridge caps, reseal, and repaint ridge caps.
