Project is included City of Tampa FY 2021-2025 CIP Page 67 ______________________________________________ Bid is Cancelled This specification describes Fire Station #1 Wind Mitigation 808 East Zack St, Tampa Florida 33602) for use by the Logistics & Asset Management Department & Tampa Fire Rescue of the City of Tampa. The City may, by field directive, authorize minor variations from the requirements of the contract documents, which so not involve an adjustment in the contract price or the contract time and are consistent with the overall intent of the contract documented. Supplements agreements, in the form of written "change orders" shall be used to clarify the plans and specifications, to provide for unforeseen work or alterations in plans, to change the limits of construction to meet field conditions, to provide a safe and functional connection to an existing facility, to make the project functionally operational in accordance with the intent of the original contract, or to adjust the contract price of the contract time requirements. The City reserves the right to make such changes in the scope pf work within the general scope of the contract at any time by a written change order that may be considered necessary or desirable to complete fully and acceptable the proposed construction in a satisfactory manner. In making any change, the charge or credit for the change shall be approximately determined by one of the following methods prior to the issuance of the order for the changed work. The change order shall set a total lump sum price for the change in the work of the Contractor, including the Contractor's overhead and profit; also, the change order shall specify whether the amount is to be added to or deducted from the original contract price. When the price for the work is determined on the basis of the number of units used, estimate the number of units which are changed, multiply the estimated number of unit(s) by the price. Additionally, the price shall include overhead and profit. The new total shall be specified on the change order as to whether it is to be added or deducted from the original contract price.
