The work contemplated will include replacement of the existing heating-only Make-Up Air Units with 100% Outdoor Air Heating& Cooling units, and associated structural, ceiling, roofing and electrical work. Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE). The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the County. The Work includes furnishing of all materials and labor necessary for the completion of the Project: Replace Make-Up Air Units at Durham County Stadium as shown on the plans and as outlined in these specifications.
