The work for which proposals are invited consist of sewer improvements in W 88 th St from S Holland Rd to S Harvard Ave, S Holland Rd from S Yale Ave to W 88 th St, S Harvard Ave from W 88 th St to 300' North and S Harvard Ave from W 88 th St to 300' South. This includes but is not limited to: the installation of approximately 718 linear feet of 24-inch reinforced concrete sewer pipe; and approximately 583 linear feet of 30-inch reinforced concrete sewer pipe; installation of tumbling basin; installation of manholes, catch basins, and inlets; construction of new connection to existing sewer and installation of drain connections; removal and installation of hydrants; watermain supports. Additionally the work of this contract includes site mobilization, providing traffic control and protection for the duration of the contract; all required excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling and compaction of excavations; restoration of pavements, curbs, walkways, landscaped areas, and removal of all construction debris; as described in the detailed specifications, including all appurtenant work and accessories, to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City. This description of work is intended to be general in nature and is neither a complete description nor a limitation on the work to be performed. Contractor shall perform all Work described in the Contract Documents or reasonably inferable as necessary to produce the results specified therein, except to the extent specifically indicated in the Contract Documents to be the responsibility of others.
