1. Document 00 43 70 - Subcontractor Work Listing and Document 00 89 00b - Women and Minority Business Enterprise Commitment Plan Form shall be completed and submitted with the Bid or within one (1) hour after the published Bid submittal time. 2. Each bid must include a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle. A copy of the bid guarantee shall be provided electronically with your bid. Original bid guarantees shall be sent to Todd Rehm, Port of Seattle, 17900 International Blvd., Suite 400B, Seatac, WA 98188 no later than 10 calendar days after the bid opening due date and time. 3. Bids shall include the solicitation number, title, due date and time in the email subject line. 4. The Port's e-mail server will not accept files larger than 10 MB. If files are larger than 10MB, proposers should send multiple e-mails with the information as set forth in the solicitation above as well as the total number of e-mail s submitted by the Bidder. Work includes: Project provides and installs new Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzers to be used to estimate th e level of Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) in industrial waste flows captured from the airport operations area south basin (Manhole 1017) and the airport operations area north basin (Manhole 489). The TOC analyzers will be housed in the existing IWS pump station with provisions to install future analyzers. Sample pumps are installed upstream of a new concrete baffle wall constructed in each manhole. Each concrete baffle wall contains a flushing gate to create a pool for pumping when closed and to flush gri t and solids into the treatment basins when open. The baffle wall in MH1017 will be provided with 90-degree V-notch weir and will utilize the pump control level transducer to measure approximate flow over the weir. Materials and installation within manholes shall comply with Class 1, Div. 1 requirements. The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1,200,000 - $2,400,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 180 calendar days. In support of the WMBE community, the Port has established a WMBE utilization goal of 10% fo r this contract.
