Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pearl City, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of selective demolition and new work only. Refer to the drawings for more detailed information. The work consists of, but is not limited to, selective demolition work to include certain slabs/pads/piers, concrete, chillers, heat pump water heaters, cooling towers, fan, chilled water pumps, condensing water pumps, reheat water pumps, expansion tanks, separators, controls, water tanks, various piping systems, insulation, luminaires, electrical main switch, panels, wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, and all incidental accessories, hardware, and supports as indicated or described in drawings, and miscellaneous related work. New work to include modification of existing or installation of certain new concrete housekeeping equipment pads, patching floor cracks, coring through existing wall; installation of new chillers, heat pump water heaters, hot water boiler, chilled water pumps, expansion tank, separators; condensing water pumps, cooling towers, exhaust fan, ductwork, chemical treatment for the various water system; various piping systems, insulation, DDC controls system, new electrical panels, conduits, circuit breakers, luminaires, and all incidental accessories, structural supports, and hardware as indicated and specified hereinafter, and miscellaneous related work. Provide power and power outlets for all new mechanical equipment and their control devices. Paint the mechanical room floor, all new exposed items and some existing exterior surfaces as indicated on drawings. The estimated construction cost is between $5 million and $10 million. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply. If awarded a contract in response to this solicitation, offeror agrees to comply with HRS section 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from a State and County government contractor during the term of the contract if the contractor is paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body between the execution of the contract through the completion of the contract.
